水墨画家 中村紫苑。
1941年1月1日 台北で日本人の両親のもと産まれる。戦後、両親と共に日本に引き揚げ進学。小学二年生の頃の習字をきっかけに墨の魅力を知り、岩田専太郎の弟子であった叔父が残した作品を模写した事で「墨で絵を書く」ことの楽しさに引き込まれる。
学校を卒業し西鉄勤務を経て結婚、2人の娘を育てる。水墨画を本格的に学び始めると、めきめきと頭角を現す。国内外での数々の受賞を経て、現在は自宅がある福岡県朝倉市を拠点に活動。4つの「水墨画教室」の講師を務め、創作活動にも汗を流す。丁寧な語り口の授業は「分かり易い」と人気。水墨アーティストとして国内外での評価も高い。
Shion Nakamura is an ink painting artist.
Born in Taipei to Japanese parents on January 1, 1941. After the war, she moved back to Japan with her parents to pursue higher education. She discovered her fascination with sumi ink when she was in the second grade of elementary school, and was drawn to the joy of “drawing with sumi ink” when she copied the works of her uncle, who was a pupil of Sentaro Iwata.
After graduating from school and working for Nishitetsu, she married and raised two daughters. She began to study ink painting in earnest and quickly became a prominent figure in the field. After winning numerous awards in Japan and abroad, she now lives and works at her home base in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where she also teaches at four “Suiboku-ga” (ink painting) classes and devotes her time to creative activities. His carefully delivered lessons are popular for their “easy-to-understand” nature. He is highly regarded both in Japan and abroad as an ink painting artist.
